History

• Christ Lutheran Church formed a nonprofit corporation, Luther View Apartments, Inc., in 1978 to build and maintain affordable apartments for low-income seniors.  All members of Christ Lutheran Church are automatically members of the corporation.

• The Senior apartments, located diagonally across from Christ Luthran Church on Cass Street, opened for residents in 1979.  The project has been very successful with full occupancy since that time. 

• Luther View Apartments consists of two buildings containing a total of 48 one-bedroom, 450 square foot apartments. 

 

Management of the Apartments

• Day-to-day management of the apartments is by a property management company, Strategic Property Management, Inc, in conjunction with a resident manager, Bob Snider.

• A 12-member Luther View Board drawn from members of Christ Lutheran Church oversees the  management company  and  assures that the apartments are maintained in an attractive state.
