Christ Lutheran
Church is happy to host your group during your Mission trip or Christian
retreat. Our facilities are available to your group if you.
v Conducting
a community service project or Christian retreat in San Diego or Mexico.
Reservations:
Reservations are taken on a first come, first serve basis.
Only one group at a time will be scheduled.
During Spring Break and Summer, we fill up rather quickly. Please keep
this in mind when planning your mission trip.
Reservations cannot be taken for groups during:

During the week from June 29 through July 18.
v
Holy Week, week of Christmas and New Year's.

Deposit - $50.00 (non refundable & not applicable toward per person
per night fee)
$5.00 per person, per night of your stay
A check payable to Christ Lutheran Church to be sent with application

Certificate of Liability Insurance
All groups using the facility who are not directly related to Christ Lutheran
Church are required to provide us with a copy of a certificate of liability
insurance. Certificates of Insurance are available on request from your
insurance carrier. This certificate should accompany the application or

Sleeping Area
Your group will be staying/sleeping in the Fellowship Hall. This is a
hard tile floor; bring ground pads and 'soft' sleeping bags.
Telephone
There is a telephone in the kitchen that can be used for local calls.
Emergency messages can be received through the church office Monday -
Friday from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM (858-483-2300)
Bathroom/Showers
The bathrooms are on the main floor.
We have outdoor showers with 10 showerheads. (Shower with bathing suits)
Please bring biodegradable soap and shampoo, the shower drain goes directly
into the ocean.
Kitchen
We have a fully equipped commercial kitchen, which you are welcome to
use.
Clean-Up/Cleaning
We ask that you maintain a clean environment throughout your stay. Cleaning
supplies and equipment are provided.
Things to bring with you

Grill, if your plans include barbeque at the beach. (PB has bonfire
pits, but no grill.) *NOTE: Containers for beach fires are generally provided during summer months and available on a first come, first served basis. The burning of rubbish is prohibited. Only wood, charcoal, or paper products may be used as fuel. Fuel for the fire may not exceed a height of more than twelve inches above the upper edge of the fire container. The fire must be extinguished before leaving the beach. Open beach fires outside containers are prohibited at all San Diego beaches.

Our church services are 8:45 AM and 11:00 AM;
your group is invited and encouraged to worship with us. Casual attire
is OK!
Parking
Our parking lots are available for you to use during the week, Parking
Passes will be provided. However on Sundays at 6:00 AM, a security service
tows all vehicles in the lots. Vehicles need to be parked on the street
Saturday night so you will not be towed.
Additional Information

Please do not bring pets, skateboards, scooters or roller blades.
v
Quiet time must be observed between 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM. (We are in a
residential neighborhood)

Christ Lutheran Church will do its
best to inform you of any special events going on during your stay. We
ask that you remain flexible while on campus for weddings, funerals or
other gatherings that may occur.
*Our
Daily Bread is a program that we host for the feeding of homeless and
needy persons. If your group would like to help serve our guests at this
servant ministry, please let us know in advance.
