Sunday Morning Worship is at 9:30 am every Sunday
with fellowship time to follow in the Gathering Place. All are welcome!
Becoming a Christian is both a momentary and lifelong decision. It begins when God’s love touches us and moves us to make a conscious choice to open our hearts to Jesus Christ. Once we have made that choice, we come to the community and ask to be baptized. As we enter the water or it is poured over our heads, we are reborn as children of God.
That is only the beginning of the journey. We are called to daily choose the way of Jesus. We join in his mission of compassionate love, peace making and justice. The community supports one another through worship, prayer, study, and fellowship.
If you would like to become a Christian or speak with someone about the possibility of making that step, we invite you to contact us via e-mail or phone. It would be an honor for us to walk with you through this live changing process.

Becoming a Christian
We gather for worship every week. In worship, we offer thanks and praise to God for all the blessings of life. We listen to the Word to hear God’s message for us. We share a simple meal of bread and wine in which we find forgiveness and purpose for life. Finally, we are sent out to continue our worship in our everyday lives.
Worship is vital to the life of any Christian. It is where we engage the community that has gathered in Jesus’ name. It is where we hear the Word that challenges us and comforts us. It is where we receive the bread and wine of Holy Communion as a tangible means of receiving God’s love. Finally, it from worship that we are sent into the world to be the hands and feet and voice of Jesus.
God calls us to worship but not because God has an ego need to be praised. God invites us to worship so that we can remember who we are and what we are called to do. God’s Word serves as a essential counter message to the barrage of messages we receive about our unworthiness. We remember that we belong to a big and inclusive family. Our lives have unfathomable value and meaning. We are not simply consumers or commodities, but children of God.
We sing songs. We pray for the needs of those who suffer. We rejoice with those who celebrate.
We strongly believe in an open sanctuary and an open table. This means that you do not need to have a background in the Lutheran church or any other church to attend and fully participate. All of us bring both our beliefs and our doubts with us to church. All of our strengths and weaknesses; our successes and failures are welcome by God and therefore by us at Christ Lutheran Church.
Childcare for infants & toddlers is provided during worship as well as Sunday School options for children up to 10 yrs of age. We also welcome children to stay and sit with their families for our service.
