Yoga, Meditation, and Movement Classes

Join us in peaceful Wright Chapel for donation-based classes in yoga, meditation, and mindful movement.

These classes are open to the community regardless of religious beliefs or prior experience. Our aim is to provide accessible and affordable classes that offer space to grow and heal your mind, body, and spirit.

Current Class Schedule

  • Chair Yoga: Mondays and Wednesdays at 10:00am

  • Meditation: Tuesdays and Fridays at 10:00am (currently on hiatus)

  • Movement Mix: Fridays at 10:00am

  • Pilates: Mondays and Wednesdays at 4:00pm beginning February 23rd

All fitness levels are welcome as options and modifications will be provided to make sure everyone can participate.

Location

Enter the chapel through the gate facing Cass Street. The door will be on your right with a sign above it reading “Wright Chapel.”

Class Descriptions

Chair Yoga

Move through gentle yoga poses with the support of a chair. Improve flexibility, strength, balance, and relaxation without needing to get up or down from the floor. It’s an inviting way to reduce stress, increase mobility, and reconnect with the body in a safe, supportive environment.

Movement Mix

Led by Susan Leonard

Looking for a fun and refreshing way to move your body and lift your spirit? Movement Mix blends yoga with a dash of dance, martial arts, breath-work, and strength training. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced, you’ll find modifications to fit your level.

Meditation

Slow down, breathe deeply, and become present with guided meditation. Experience a quiet space to reduce stress, cultivate awareness, and reconnect with a sense of inner calm.

Pilates

Led by Barbara Gauthier

Mat Pilates is a 60-minute class that combines strength training and stretching to improve muscular development, flexibility and agility. Emphasis is on core strength, proper posture, deep lateral breathing and balance. Feel free to bring your own yoga mat or use the mats that are provided.
